Our event is limited to 200 so register early!  Morning breakout sessions are repeated in the afternoon so you won’t miss your favorites.  Join us at a GeneaUs Bar for informal discussion in your favorite genealogy or technology specialty area.  Bring your family history searches to work on in the hands-on beginner & intermediate labs, limited to 24 attendees each.

Caron Brennan

Caron Primas Brennan is a popular Chicagoland genealogy presenter, a member of the Genealogical Speaker’s Guild and the Association of Professional Genealogists.  Caron hosts the popular blog “Your Cousin Caron”.  She has been researching for more than twenty years.

 

Thomas MacEntee

Acclaimed nation-wide speaker Thomas MacEntee is a genealogy professional specializing in the use of technology and social media to improve genealogy research and as a way to connect with others in the family history community.  He is the creator of GeneaBloggers.com and consults with genealogy societies in the development of blogs, education, market research, technology, and family history writing.  He has 25 years’ experience in IT and 15 years of genealogy research.

 

John Stryker

John Stryker is Professor of Computer Technologies and Information Systems at Oakton Community College. He also caught the genealogical bug as a young boy from his father. A former software developer, he speaks to various groups about using the latest in technology.

Nancy R. Thomas

Nancy R. Thomas is the current President of CAGGNI and the immediate Past-President of the DuPage County Genealogical Society. She is a retired College of DuPage Professor/Reference Librarian and has been researching her ancestors and her husband's for over 30 years. She uses Flip-Pal and Picasa to enhance her research and writing efforts.

Sandra Trapp

Sandra Trapp has presented programs for various local genealogy organizations and libraries.  She volunteers at the Naperville Family History Center as its Resource Chairman and serves as a director of the Genealogical Forum of Elmhurst.  Sandra has been researching for 15 years her ancestors, her husband's, son-in-law's and friends' families. 

Michelle Bray Wilson

Michelle Bray Wilson is the immediate past president of CAGGNI and currently serves on the GeneaQuest conference committee.  She is an engineering director at a Chicago-area biotechnology firm.  Michelle’s passions for science and genealogy are well combined in the study of genetic genealogy.
